Featured Games Badges for the following Metroid games are available to earn in this event: 2D Saga (see post #2) METROID 1 Each badge has a "Picture Proof" prompt in its description, so a photo or screenshot will suffice. Furthermore, all badges will award 15 Famicoins each.Īs was the case with previous site events, there is no in-depth system in place to verify that members have indeed fulfilled the prerequisite badge condition. There are a total of 45 badges available for the Fami community to earn, which is our highest badge count in a site event to date! More badges available to earn should naturally result in a longer than average event duration, don't you agree? As always, badges are featured in a section on your profile, and can also be displayed over your posts. The event will run for two months, from today, November 17, 2022, to January 17, 2023. There may still be no sign of the hotly rumored and speculated upon Metroid Prime remaster, nor any concrete news to speak of regarding Metroid Prime 4, but that's certainly no reason to stop we, the Fami community, from celebrating the legacy of this treasured landmark series! Feel free to use this thread not solely to post about your badge progress, but also to share your fondest Metroid memories. Additionally, the event serves as a broader celebration of the Metroid series overall, and the renewed passion, vigor, and enthusiasm we as its fans have, following the release of last year's long-anticipated Metroid Dread. Inside you’ll find a Zeta Metroid! It’s just like the battle from before, so if you need help on fighting it again, check here.Welcome bounty hunters, to the Famiboards Metroid Prime and Fusion 20th Anniversary Event! This event serves to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Metroid Fusion, initially released in North America on November 17, 2002, and Metroid Prime, released the very next day, on November 18, 2002. Keep following this path and you’ll eventually get to the room with the Screw Attack! It’s essentially the Space Jump but now it serves as an attack too.Īs you make your way out to get back to the main room, break through the weak blocks on the left wall with your Screw Attack to get to the door behind it. Because you got the Gravity Suit, you’ll be able to jump up to the passageway above. ![]() ![]() Thanks to your new Plasma Beam, you can now open it. There you will find a green door on the left. To do this, go to the right side of the room. We want to get the next upgrade as soon as possible. Take this time to use your Space Jump to explore the area and fill it into your map. You can go all around the tall structure with the elevator you just used on one side and a second elevator resting on the other side. Think of it as if there was a building in the center of the room. Congrats! You made it to the main section of Area 5! This place is huge. With the Gravity Suit in hand, head for the elevator. ![]()
